• What is Fiberfence®?

  Fiberfence® is a fiberglass composite fencing product that’s manufactured using a pultruded process, and offering the look of traditional fencing.

• How is a Fiberfence® panel for a stockade, picket or shadow box fence constructed?

  The panels are built similar wooden panels with individual rails and slats. The slats are fastened to the rails with aluminum rivets.

• Can I purchase individual components and build the panels myself?

  Yes, you can buy the components individually and build the panels yourself.

• What kinds of posts are used with a Fiberfence® system?

  Posts used for a Fiberfence® system are: metal, wood or fiberglass. Metal and wood posts are the same posts that are presently used for fence installations all over the world. The fiberglass posts are square profiles designed to enhance the strength and beauty of the fence.

• What is the life span of the different types of posts?

  Treated wood post will last between 10 to 15 years - although warpage will occur after 1-2 years. Galvanized metal post will last about 30 years. A Fiberfence fiberglass post will last more than 50 years. It will not corrode, warp or crack

• I already have posts installed that are in very good condition. Can I use them with a new Fiberfence system?

  Yes, you can use the existing post if they’re not set more than 8' apart from each other. Since the width of a Fiberfence panel is 8', any other dimension would require you to order custom widths by providing exact widths (center to center) on these posts.

• How about doors and Gates?

  Doors and Gates are fabricated utilizing the same hardware that is used to build doors and gates for steel or wood fences. The frame of the privacy gates can be strengthened by adding a metal frame to the back side and attaching the metal frame to the hinges, without improperly using the Fiberfence panel.

• What is the maximum height of a Fiberfence® system?

  The height of a Fiberfence® system is only limited by local regulations. Normal heights are 3', 4', 5', 6' and 8' OR your custom design.

• Will weed trimmer equipment damage a Fiberfence®?

  No, Fiberfence® products are resistant to damage caused by weed trimmers or any other similar device used for trimming grass that grows next to the fence.

• What other types of products are made with the materials that Fiberfence is made of?

  Fiberglass and pultruded fiberglass is all around us. It’s being used to make decorative and architectural products, airplanes, boats, cars, ladders, diving boards, ice chests, snowmobiles, trucks, buildings, water rides, recreational vehicles, camper tops, bridges, utility handles, etc.
